Born in rural Victoria in 1957, Nick Cave first made his mark with The Birthday Party. Cult following grew after the band moved to London and eventually Berlin. Cave's lyrical focus remained heavy, with influences from The Old Testament, Delta Blues, and outlaw country heroes like Johnny Cash.
Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds will tour Europe and the U.S. in 2022. Co-written with long-time collaborator and friend Warren Ellis. Cave's touring stopped after his son Arthur died in 2015. Performing is a catharsis for Cave after losing another of his four sons.
